26 September 2017 - After two months in the second ESL African Championship Hearthstone Series, Adam "sythe" Katz ranks at the number one spot in Africa and secures his place in the finals.
Sythe has maintained a remarkable success rate throughout the first and second series of the ESL African Hearthstone Championship, winning 10 of 14 matches in the first series and 9 of 14 in the second series. Leading at 27 points, sythe ranks 3 points above spots two through five. Katz is one of two South Africans competing in the Championship Series, the other player, known as Menlyn currently occupies the third spot in the ESL rankings.
We wish sythe all the best as he prepares to compete in the finals to be hosted at rAge Expo 2017, which will take place from 6 to 8 October.
30 May 2017 - Damage Control starts their ESL African Championship with a bang, a couple really. Winning both their first matches 2:0 against two formidable opponents, xTc Gaming and EXDEE GAMING. In their first game up against xTc, DC won both maps de_inferno and de_cbble. DC also took EXDEE on de_nuke and de_cache.

30 May 2017 - We’re three weeks into the Hearthstone ESL African Championship Series and DC’s Adam "sythe" Katz has shown just how much fight he has. Sythe is two for two, winning two of his games more than convincingly with scores of 3 – 0 over his opponents Saliom playing from Algeria and fellow South African Simplez.
Sythe continues his journey in this group stage on Saturday, 3 June against Madagascan henrilys at 21:00.

15 May 2017 - The ESL African Championship by Kwesé has kicked off and seen some great action in the Hearthstone series with Damage Control's very own Adam "sythe" Katz starting off the Group Stages strong.
